Lessons Learned from First Year in Mission

"That was the fastest year of my life. The shortest year of my life and by FAR, the GREATEST year of my Life."

"Mom you asked about a list of the top 10 things I have learned from the past 12 months..."

Lotu--I really have learned to lean on Prayer, especially while I was in Niua. Trust in Prayer. There is power in Prayer.

Fa'a Kataki--Patience really is a virtue and one that I have learned to be. Don't worry, be Patient; Heavenly Father will provide.

Utu--He that planteth good seeds will reap good fruit. The Law of the Harvest. Always be planting good seeds. This also applies to patience. You don't know when you will reap but just have patience.

Malimali tatau ai pe--Smile no matter what. Everything is a billion times easier to do when you have a smile.

Keinanga ihe ngaahi folo fola--I have come to love studying the scriptures. The 2 hour in the morning is not enough time to study. It goes by way too fast as if Satan turns the clock faster.

Ofa--The Tongan people are God's chosen people. They are so great. They don't even live on Earth. They are lucky blessed to live in the OTHER SIDE OF HEAVEN. They are so full of LOVE. Love for GOD, His scriptures, and HIS missionaries. (I hope you are taking good care of the missionaries there in Downey)
